Vintage late 40's early 50's Catalina Black Velvet Strapless Swimsuit sz 34. We love this bombshell swimsuit. Completely styled of black velvet. Two panels on the sides front of suit are gathered while the back of the suit is completely shirred with elastic for that perfect fit. There must have been straps for this at one time as the small fabric areas to hold the hooks are still in place but no strap remains. One could easily be made if desired. The center front of the bust is gathered with an inner tie. The bust is lined and has snaps sewn in place if you wanted to add some extra padding. The suit is slip on style. There is a modesty panel and elasticized leg openings. Gusset has a plastic like liner. Upon close inspection one of the bust cups has a sewn seam while the other doesn't but they look the same to us and you have to look close to even see this. Suit is in excellent condition. No fading, no blemishes or crushing to the velvet. Label reads Catalina100% Dupont Nylon and Lastex. Weight 115/125, size 34.

Vintage 50's Kamehameha Miss Hawaii Blue Floral Swimsuit Bathing Suit B36. All cotton bathing suit has a wrap around bodice that ties in the front leaving the back open. The back of the bottoms are completely shirred with elastic for a body hugging fit. Elasticized leg opening casings. Fabric has no stretch. Fabric looks like a sateen cotton or polished cotton. Bust has molded cups and the suit is completely lined in front and at the gusset. Made by the Kamehameha Garment Co. Honolulu, Hawaii. No size labels remain. Swimsuit is in excellent condition.

You're sure to make waves in this darling vintage 40's 2 Piece Satin Lastex Bikini Swimsuit Bathing Suit! From Catalina, size 36 weight 115/130. The top has fagot stitching at center bust and under the bust. Ties at the back and at the neckline halter style. The high waist bottoms have an internal tie waist casing with elastic boy cut leg openings.  Modesty panel in front. The bottoms have a lined gusset.  Beautiful gold color with a shiny wave like pattern throughout. There are some very faint spots on the front modesty panel, you have to look hard to see them and a slight bit of surface pilling to the rear. Swimsuit has 2 way stretch from side to side. We believe the fabric to be a satin lastex. Absolutely stunning find.

BEST Vintage 50's Black Crystal Pleat Skirted Bombshell Swimsuit Bathing Suit size M B34. Gorgeous black 2 way stretch shelf bust swimsuit has a crossover pleated bust line, surplice style. VaVoom halter adjustable neck strap. The back of the suit is completely shirred with elastic. There are elasticized leg openings under the crystal pleated skirt. Bodice has a center elasticized band down the middle of the tummy area creating a gathered effect. Material has some shine like a nylon satin. There are no makers tags left in this beauty. The bust is boned and lined, the bodice and bottoms are also lined. There is a small pinhole in the gusset but it is only on the outer fabric and the lining is comprised of the same fabric so it is very well concealed under the skirt. Otherwise the swimsuit is in excellent condition.

Vintage 60's High Tide Red Bandanna Print 2 Piece Bikini Swimsuit Bathing Suit 36. Sweet red high waist cotton bandanna print swimsuit has a cute white looped trim on the lower bodice edge and at the leg openings. The top has adjustable button shoulder straps with elastic shirred side panels for ease of fit. Three buttons close the back. Interior padded shelf bra. Bottoms have a back metal zipper closure with elastic in the waistband casing. Bottoms are lined with elastic in the leg opening lining. 100% Cotton. Labeled a size 36. Swimsuit is in excellent vintage condition.

Vintage 50s Rose Marie Reid Ethnic Print Swimsuit Bathing Suit sz 16/38. Crisp cotton pleated skirted swimsuit in a wonderful larger size. A bombshell beauty from Rose Marie Reid. Sweet ethnic print with mosaic elephants and fans in shades of purplish blues, greens, brown and black against an ivory colored background. Swimsuit features elasticized leg openings under the pleated skirt, side elasticized shirred panels from the top of bodice to the waist, back metal zipper with hook and eyes at inner placket. Adjustable slide shoulder straps fasten at the back.  Bust is boned and lined and the gusset is also lined. One pinhole sized rust spot on backside of panty under skirted area, does not shown when worn, otherwise swimsuit is in excellent condition.

One piece suit has a rhinestone collar halter neckline with rhinestone circular fobs at the ends of each neck tie. Back metal zipper closure with two snaps at the inner placket. Bust is boned and padded with lace. Bust also has side stays. The fabric shimmers with green and silver metallic. Low cut elasticized leg openings. 50% Nylon, 50% Metallic. Vintage 80's Playmate Animal Leopard Print High Cut Bathing Suit Swimsuit 5/6. Meow kitty! This one is hot, animal magnetism at it's finest. Swimsuit bodice is comprise of two pieces of lycra spandex material that extend from the waist over the bust and tie behind the neck halter style. The suit ties in back from the sides of the bust and also has a tie at the center front bust. High cut elasticized leg openings. The waist is accented with a black adjustable sash that creates a bow in the front. The back of the bottom of suit is black. Various animal prints comprise the fabric. The gusset and bust are lined. Bust is unpadded. 83% Nylon, 17% Spandex. Made in USA. Swimsuit is in excellent condition.

Vintage 60s LEE Turquoise Bullseye Cotton Pique 2 piece Bikini Swimsuit Bathing Suit 10/32. label reads Lee Swimplay suits. Cute bullseye print in white on turquoise. Suplice style bust. Shoulder straps are adjustable with buttons at the back. Inner Padding at bust line. Bottoms have a bow at the side front, back metal zipper closure with  a hook and eye at top. Inner cotton lining with elasticized leg openings. Back side casings of top and bottom are elasticized. 'Fabric has a pique tooth. There are a couple of very tiny spots on the back gusset, otherwise in excellent condition.

Most measurements are taken lying flat and unstretched. We measure from side to side and then double the measurements for bust, waist and hips. Sleeves are measured from the seam at the shoulder to the edge of the cuff. Shoulder to shoulder is taken from seam to seam on shoulders. Inseams are measured from hemline to crotch, rise indicates measurement from crotch to waistline.
